2025 may very well be a make-or-break year for Microsoft’s Xbox brand. Following a relatively slow start to the generation–the lack of killer first-party exclusives has been notable–Microsoft acquired Activision Blizzard, making Game Pass more enticing via yearly day-one Call of Duty launches.
